Just bought a 1997 wellcraft 190 center console it came with a 97 johnson 115 spl motor. Looking to get a shop manual. I bought this manual on ebay but don't see my model number listed in the manual. My model number is XJ115HLEUA
PIC OF MY MOTOR and the manual I bought. Will this manual be good enough for most stuff for my motor? Anyone suggest a different one that is more specific to my motor? Thanks

That is the correct manual for your motor !----It appears to be a 1998 manual.----All the same.

That boat looks like it just came off the showroom floor 25 years ago.

What do you recommend to decarb? Dump something in the fuel?
What oil should I use? I have a gallon of quicksilver 2 stroke oil from a different project.

Gasoline is a solvent, and likely all you need in a clean engine -- fresh fuel, and some run time. The tank may be a caveat. If the tank is dirty, whatever is in there will end up in the engine.
