Shipping a pressure tank domestically and internationally.

Did any of you ever ship a pressure tank anywhere?How did you deal with hazardous materials regulations?<br />I really need some advice on this one.Thank you for sharing any experience on this.

Hi Rolmops,<br /> I've shipped a few in the States without a problem. Just clean it out well. A good washing with soapy water ought to do it. If it doesn't stink like fuel, there's not a problem.... Make sure you let it dry thoroughly before capping it again. Don't want it to rust...<br /><br />- Scott

I just received a tank UPS this week. It was in a plastic bag inside the box. No gas smell till I opened the bag. There was of course an oily film in the tank. Gas would be a no no.<br /><br />Frank
