Hey guys,

I meant to meantion this ealier, but I have a 1986 Bayliner Capri with 3.0L OMC. I have had the boat for 5 years and it will go from neutral to forward or neutral to reverse easily with no issues. However, when I have it in forward gear, I have to kill the engine to get it back to neutral. But if its out of the water and on muffs, it will shift in and out of forward to neutral with no issues. I finally broke down last year and took it to a mechanic. He kept the thing all summer, replaced the shift interrupter and did not solve the problem. Im in the process of replacing the engine coupler and would like to have all the issues worked out before I put it back in the water. Do you guys have any ideas????
