Shift/throttle cables

HI, sorry for the beginner type question. When I order a shift cable for my outboard, does it include the throttle cable also in the same sheath, or do I order that seperately?

Also, I've read that you measure cable length "tip to tip". Would that be from where the tip mounts up inside the controls to where the other end tip reaches it's max extension? I know it can't be rocket science because they only sell them in 1' increments, just curious.

Thanks!

Re: Shift/throttle cables

Go to the teleflex-morse web site. They explain how to measure cables. Be sure to add enough for the loop at the engine so they don't bind. The cables are the same length for throttle and shift..
