Shift shaft washer? MR-1 drive

Yep, my friend lost his stainless steel shift shaft washer and wants to make one. Does anyone have the thickness of that washer and the outside diameter.

Also, when reassembling the lower unit to the upper (on bench) is it necessary to have that shift shaft in any particular position.

Thickness doesn't really matter, just a standard SS washer thickness (Not the real thin ones either). It should have an outside diameter about the size of the bushing itself.
When turned all the way clock wise, the foot of the shaft should face forward (toward the boat.)
