Shift rod

Hi....does anyone know where I can find the length a shift rod is suppose to be on a 1989 Johnson VRO 115 ???? I have searched on here and elsewhere.....local marine shop says bring it in....any help is appreciated ...

You wont find it because they didn't make a 1989 Johnson VRO 115.

its J110 TL AEM if I am reading the tag correct.....its kinda worn...Dave

Just use google-----Johnson shift rod height------Should all be clear.

Dang I have been googling this and writing it different ways and never pulled up some of the stuff that's on this page....but yeah I found a chart towards the bottom...thanks....now if I can only get it all lined up and the arm pushed back over to connect to it...lol lol easier said then done for a guy who has hands so big he cant buy most gloves....lol
