I need them for my 57 and 62 Fastwins. Anyone know a source for these gaskets? I looked at Laing's and iboats and can't seem to locate any, unless they are called something different.

Put a fine bead of marine RTV sealer around the cover and put in on. They didn't have RTV sealer when those mtrs were built.

I do understand that that is an option. Are there no gaskets available?

If you really want them you can keep on hunting but I've taken a lot of those mtrs appart where they weren't there. Remember that cover is in the exhaust hsg on the strb side not to far from the water level when mtr is in lake. The worst that can happen is you might see some exhaust fumes shoot out of the cover.
