Shift lever bushing & seal replacement? (Alpha 1 Gen 2)

Does the seal and bushing come up out of the top or, down out thru the exhaust side, and how do you remove them? Mike

Which one are you referring to, the one in the drive or the one in the bellhousing?

I removed the outdrive to replace shift cable etc. The one in the bellhousing.

On the service page it shows the bushing and seal comes out thru the top, but how do you remove them? Special tool, heat, a big hammer etc.
