I have an alpha 1 3.7 mercruiser, does any have instructions on how to adjust the lower shift cable? I am putting a brand new cable in, and just need instructions on how to get it to proper settings
While pushing on the cable from the inside of the boat, have a helper turn the prop ccw to fully engage it into fwd gear......
The measurement frome the center of the barrel nut to the center of the eye should be six inches......
