Shear Magic

I got an ad in the mail for a product called "Shear Magic". It's a flexible ring with two heavy plastic blades and retaining screws. The thing mounts to the business end of your trolling motor. It's supposed to keep weeds from wrapping around your trolling motor by shearing them off before they can wrap around. <br /><br />Has anyone tried this?

Seems to me that it may help some, but I think that I get most of my weeds just hooking over the front of the motor!<br /><br />
