Just wanted to say thanks to all who helped. The ole 1970 115hp that I inherited, and was told it was locked up is alive and well. Turns out (through some expert guidance by DJ) the lower unit was froze up, but only because the upper vent plug was left out over the winter and a couple of bearings rusted. I opted to replace more than was recommended, and spent all of $250.00 Now she runs great, and I am "On the Water" Thanks DJ
