Just a precautionary note to the Starmada - especially for us Restovation knuckleheads. Check every bolt and connection on the rig once in a while!
In my 4 trips out - I have had the connector bolt for the alternator (the underneath one) loosen and fall out - as well as the connector bolt for the accelerator cable linkage loosen and fall out. While putting a new belt in - I just checked around and found some other candidates looking to screw up (or unscrew up) a fine day out on the Lake/ocean/sea/pond/river/canal/estuary!

I know alot of us have taken the whole darn thing apart and put it back together!

Apparently my hull paint was so loose it came off too!

Nothin ever goes wrong on my boat!

Clark, you should see what the easypoxy looks like below the waterline after setting at the dock for two weeks:eek:

My Holiday is now naked from the waist down:eek:

I think the Starmada gods frowned upon your taunt video of a couple months ago!!

Easypoxy, Petit, everyone who designed it, and everyone who sells it can all go take on a long walk off a short pier.

Re: Shake Rattle and Loosen!

Blue loc-tite is semi-permanent,I use it religiously. Split washers on everything.

When I was in the Air force we were required to safety wire everything. I've thought about it, what a pain though. Blue lock tight and split washers should do you right. Permanent loc-tite is the best. Getting it off sometimes requires heat, it holds and holds though.

Thanks for the heads up Starcrafter65, great point.

Ok, for those that have painted and those that are planning to, what is the recommended paint now?

No. I could not be more disappointed.

My recommendation is either just stick with Rustoleum or go whole hog with a 2 part marine paint.
