I'm new so sorry for not knowing the correct names of parts. But here goes. On my trailer, the loop to attach the winch is below the roller. I've seen trailers with it above. Does it matter? Or is it just preference? The boat is a Sea Ray 175 on an EZ loader trailer. Thanks in advance.

Re: Setting up trailer

ZR <br /> The "bow eye"should be below the bow stop roller. This will help keep the boat from riding up over the winch stand in a panic stop situation. Some boats mine included have 2 rollers one above the bow eye and one below.
