I'm sure this same question has been answered many times now, but I can't find a good answer....I'm trying to adjust the timing on my 1992 3.0 and the manual says to use a timing shunt part# 986662, I have looked everywhere for this part but it was discontinued. Does anyone know where I can still buy one or how to make one? Is there a way to properly adjust the timing without this and without piercing thru the marine clips?
