Mercruiser and 260hp GM 350 motor(5.7?), the serial number is 070045. I am doing a service/inspection of this boat I bought a week ago. Grease engine coupler splines, zerk fittings and check ujoints. Inspect bellows (1year old)... gimble Bearing for smooth operation, and no play. After that I am SURE someone here will talk me into a new impeller as well. I wanna get this reliable enough to take out to Standard Rock, Lake Superior (16miles from Marquette).
Torque Specs for everything would make me feel better about tearing into this thing. But mostly the bell housing nuts. And who knows if I am gonna have to take it further apart then that. I kinda wanted to do the service in the morning when I wake up. We'll see... Thanks guys.
