Serial to model number? flywheel, 85 gamefisher

Does anyone have a way of matching up a serial number with a model number and year? I'm trying to get a flywheel and spark advance part for my black 1985 Gamefisher 15hp, 217.586360, its eska built.. I saw a flywheel on auction that might fit it but the seller is only listing the serial and has no model number, 68017241.

Does he have the p/n of the flywheel?

and under IGNITION SYSTEM is flywheel p/n 200-824380T2 and here is one available though at a much higher price than ebay, I am sure:

yes, sears parts shows 610959A for the flywheel part number but NLA. thanks
