Serial number/model question

Hey guys, just bought an older (1994)Astro Bass as a new project. It has a 2001? 75 Merc on it. Can anyone tell me where I can find a serial number on this engine? I would like to get a service manual for it.

BTW I found a number on the head...42885-c2 but I think that is the part number.

From the manual:

The Outboard serial number is located on the lower
starboard side of the engine block. A serial number
is also located on the starboard side of the swivel
bracket.

The disc on the engine block will look like this:

The swivel bracket usually has a sticker attached. Item 1 in this link:

Mercury, Mercruiser, Force, etc. - Swivel Bracket and Steering Arm - 75/90 H.P. 65 JET (3 CYLINDER)

Thanks Gerry. However, there is no sticker on the swivel bracket. that is where I am used to seeing one. And it looks like there never was any sticker/lable attached there. I found the freeze plug at the base of the block and it is clear of any markings. It is only about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. I see nothing else. And by the way thanks for sending us all that wonderfully refreshing COLD WINTER AIR!!!
