Serial Number 9.9HP Big Foot 4 stroke

I have a question about a 9.9 HP big foot out board. For some reason the S/N plate is missing on the one I have. Is there any way to find out the information on it such as the year etc.. There is a plate on it that gives the emission information . It states that it is a 323CC and a family number of 4M9XM.3232G0 also states that it conforms to 2004 Cal and US EPA emission.

The Outboard serial number is located on the lower starboard side of the engine block. See it on a disc like this:

If you post the number when you get it, I will probably have the service manual for it and can send it to you.

I looked several times and maybe I am blind but I can not find anything that looks like the picture you sent me. I found three rows of numbers on the head but they do not look like S/N also numbers on other parts that are probably casting numbers.
