I have a 1990 pro 90hp evinrude on a 28' suntracker party hut. The trim sending unit was on the motor but no gauge inside. the instructions that came with the gauge said to hook up the purple wire and the brown&white wire to the gauge but i don't have a brown&white wire, just a brown wire. that brown wire goes to a alarm There is a black wire with brown stripe and a brown wire under the dash. could not get it to work with those wires.
