The joys of selling my boat and mind you this was a few minutes into the call before I thought to put on speaker for my wife and her hitting record.

here is a fun one.,...

Good Morning Seller,
It's a beautiful day here and seeing the beauty of this boat is great.I have a collection of 1960 and 70 trimarans and monihauls. I am located in San Diego. I am intrigued by your vessel and would like to know more about it. Can you tell me who built the boat? Where was she built? I am very interested in the boat and will be glad to have it as a replacement to my sold vessel. Also, Please would you be willing to ship to an out of state buyer considering the shipping and logistics costs are met? Please give me some advice.

Warmest Regards,

Ya never know, Joe.

When I was living in Tampa 20+ years ago, I sold a boat to a fella in Australia. He direct wired the money to my account and arranged shipping himself. Once the funding was secured, he contacted the local shipper, who came out and picked the boat up.

All I had to do was hand over the keys and title. Easy, peasy. 😎

well to start, 651 is a Minnesota land line, not cell number that would allow a person to be in the wrong state and anyone who uses the word 'haul' is never going to buy any boat I ever own.

then the brand of the boat is in the ad, so fail.
then too many grammatical error, so fail. Like you I have family from other countries and I can spot a non english speaker trying to speak english.

The irony of someone with the monikor Redneck Joe taking offense to the butchery of the english language.

there is a deeper meaning to the redneck in my handle, not the jeff foxworthy definition but yes from a distance I see your point.

Ya never know. The number of people around here that do crafts with an automobile theme that constantly screw up "Camaro" is unfathomable. 9 times out of 10 it's spelled "Camero"...with a picture of the car above it.

OR the people that would walk up to me when I was showing my Trans Am and say "Nice Camaro". Now mind you, it has Trans Am on both fenders and the rear spoiler.

And heaven help ya if ya try to correct them.

So I wouldn't let "haul" vs "hull" sway ya either way....well maybe a touch...
