For a utility vehicle, I'd go for the truck. As a regular daily driver, I'd lean to the Lincoln. For both, I might look towards a later model PU.

The truck has a lot more character. The Lincoln is more of a "meh", nothing really special..... 2 different animals, I guess it depends on what are your goals....... Looking for another toy?

Just figured I'll never get to use the boats this year, as the ice won't be off till July, and starts reforming a week or two later.
Owning a boat here, is like having a snowmobile in Alabama.

A friend of mine recently purchased a 1950 Chrysler Imperial. All original in pretty good shape - and I mean it's drivable and nice to be in - and he picked it up for around $6,500 outta' the Pacific Northwest. It's a very nice ride.

The truck vs. the Lincoln are kinda' apples vs. oranges isn't it? That Lincoln has to absolutely float down the road.

I had a Lincoln virtually identical to that one, talk about a gas hog, but it was a dream to drive down the hwy, floated, rocked and rolled just like a boat!

i had the 56 imperial, guy said get it out of here and its yours(back when you had to pay to have junk cars removed), i put a battery in it, some gas, air the tires, and drove it home, bullet holes and all(had been used for target practice). drove it till the frame broke, bout a year, nice car

I like that truck. Getting an old truck like that is in my future plans. I would prefer a simple bed though.
