The power wires on the "heat proof" ceramic 200W Halogen bulb holder finally burn't/cooked themselves off their mounting post, good time to switch out.......... Switched over to this pad finally. Works great! These pads need a heat sink (oil pan) else the pad will self destruct in hours.

Plan B....The pad got too stinky when it heats, the chewies definitely could smell it and didn't like the odor/s it gives off. Might be the adhesives and/or something internal to the pad...

Two parallel'd branches of 10 series'd 20 ohm 25 Watt resistors, R total = 100 ohms. 144 watts rms total.
