I'm replacing my swim ladder.
The current one is a flimsy one-step thing that folded up on to the fiberglass platform and was held with a nylon strap with a snap.
I'm going to put a Windline telescoping ladder on.
I know all of the new boats have a recessed area for the ladder, but mine obviously won't.
My question is, should I put some sort of rubber bumper or something for it to rest on, rather than the fiberglass? And, will it vibrate too much?
