SECONDARY SER# 1994 200HP MERC?

Anyone know where the secondary serial number is located on this engine? I thought saw that it was somewhere on the starboard side of the block any ideas as to where as I did not want to have to take off the packs to check under them.<br /><br />Thanks

My Clymer says it's on the "Welch plug)..

I thought that too (Checked Clymer as well) but no , Mercury sez starboard side of block they just dont say where.<br /><br />Just can't see it, may have to just take the packs loose just to see.<br /><br />RF
