My 1990 7.4L Mercruiser w/ Bravo One currently has a 2-piece plastic seawater pump...
I was going to rebuild it, but noticed that there is a small crack in the bottom of the plastic housing. It's 19-years old, (but only 290hours total) so I suppose it's exceeded it's lifespan...
I haven't seen any repair kits that include the center housing... can you buy these parts?
OR, I've also seen "1-piece" repair kits... are these interchangable, or are these replacements???
Generally speaking, what is the course of action one takes to get this seawater pump back into good working order, that doesn't involve buying a brand new one???
Thanks,
