I have a Smokercraft 19. I have been leaving it uncovered for the past week hoping for a sunny day. I noticed that when I took off the seat cushions the storage areas were filled with water. There is no drainage hole. Has anyone just drilled a hole in the plastic so the water could drain out?

Drill the holes. It will soak your carpet, but if you left it uncovered in the rain that wouldn't seem to be a problem.

I'm surprised that the holes aren't there. But if not, by all means drill them. You don't water standing in there.

Are you sure there aren't holes that are just plugged, seems odd they wouldn't allow for drainage.

Drill baby drill, I would put them to the back of the box since the boat always tips to the back, maybe to the rail side so the water has less to travel to leave the boat.

Drill the holes, I'm also surprised that they aren't there also.
