Finally got my hands on my Dads old Water Witch. Ser # 571-10. Believe it's 2 1/2 hp. Been in the family forever, think it was my Granpappy Jacks to begin with. Sorry no pics, camera took a dump. Will post some asap. But motor has aluminum bullet tanks port & starboard of the flywheel, starboard for fuel & port for oil. Look like airplane drop tanks, very cool.

Anything anybody can tell me about this brand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mae West motor. Ongoing joke is none of them ever ran.

Looks like you are in Venice. If you want to come up to Sarasota for a looksee, you can read the Waterwitch story in my "The Old Outboard Book" by Peter Hunn. Send me a PM.

Um, are you sure about that gas/oil tank setup?

Hey gimme a break, I haven't seen the motor in years! Heh heh heh. Yes, upon further inspection they are both fuel tanks. Which feed premix into the carb via a "Y" fitting. (What was I thinking? Duhh.)

Designed by renowned industrial designer Raymond Loewy. Same guy that dreamed up the origional Coca-Cola bottle.
