Sears 332.61026.jpg

(a Canoe is just a Smaller Hole in the Water to throw my Money into)

Giving the Numbers, our Canoe is a 1979 Sears & Roebuck Fiberglass Canoe, which as you can see it is a 'Flat-Back' 15.7 Long @ 37 inches wide at it's the widest point.

When we bought it there was a 'little keel' damage which I repaired with some epoxy (666) and it seems and feels like it is a lot heavier then the specs than the ones prior and after in the list so it is safe to assume the floatation in the Bow and Stern is completely saturated, no big deal, been through all of this in a much larger Nightmare version.

The outboard I have had was giving to me 'broken' and I have been repairing for over 13 years as a literal recovery project, which is a 3.5 Clinton that I need to replace the Reeds in and it will run just fine.

that is my project as it stands.

As far as the flotation, I am thinking of just installing watertight hatches in the front and back and front deck and remove and replace the old flotation foam with Four-Part Waterproof flotation. as always any input is appreciated.
