I purchased a Sears 9.0hp electric start. I don't know how old it is.
S/n 67600931-1221 model # 574.59551. When I purchased it the guy didn't have a gas tank so we put the motor it in a barrel of water and used a squirt bottle to put gas in the carb. It seemed to run fine. I took it home and got a tank. I put the motor in a barrel l of water, primed the bulb and she fired, then died. I havn't been able to start it sence then. Like I said it has electric start so it's not from lack of the engine turning over.
Any info would be greatlly appreacated.
