Scroll up to the top right corner of any forum page. There's a search box, complete w/ the 'universal' search icon: Magnifying glass....

Actually the techies have been at work, because now, even though I scrolled down to post this reply, the search box remained in the top right corner of my computer screen, just below the page counter & filter selector.

Don't know about other platforms, but that's where it is on FireFox

I noticed that the other day. The Reply, search and page counter are persistent at the top of the page. That's even better than what we asked for - To put the page count/previous and next on the top and bottom. :thumb:

Why don't you try advanced search? The option is there. Only bug is you have to do it from the main forum index - Click "Forum" at the top of any page, then the down arrow beside "Search" and then "Advanced Search". Toward the bottom of the advanced search page is "Source" with all the sub-forums listed.

EDIT - I notice the search option down arrow is everywhere. The persistent box at the top of this page threw me off because the down arrow is missing. So go to top of the page you are viewing and look for the arrow beside the search box.
