What are you trying to search for, Mark? Up on the top right of any page is the Search box;

Some tablets are problematic. Notified support, we'll see what they come up with. Ask away if you have other questions, Mark.

What iPad are you using? I just tested it on our work iPad and the search bar always shows. Unless your resolution is only 766 pixels wide, let me make a change real quick and see if that fixes it.

I think he's in a sub-forum and the search function to search just the sub-forum is what he's looking for.

I dont think it shows on the Starcraft owners forum either. If you open a Topic, you can search just that Topic, otherwise you are searching 1 of the whole of a main forum group, like Restoration or Mercury OBs forum

Not to throw gas on the fire, but my Fire shows the Search box on every page, just like my PC.

The search bar should be available on ALL pages. For desktops, if you click the drop down arrow, it will allow you to search in the forum you are currently viewing.

The search box directly under my user name does have a down arrow carot, and clicking that does drop down an optional menu to click the search just the forum I'm in option.....

If you are on a Topic page, there's another 2nd search box that remains fixed at the top of the page as you scroll down. You don't have to scroll back up to the top. I was only looking for that 2nd search box...

That upper search box carot is also how you access an advanced search as well...

It just worked on the SC forum, so thanks

I just tried on the Fire and I lose the basic search box on the floating page bar in portrait. It might be a real estate or 10 pound vs 5 pound bag issue.

Search box with advanced features is still up under the username in both portrait and landscape.
