Sear/Tanaka

Anyone:

I have a sears Tanaka 3.0 motor.

I just pulled out of my garage after 6 years. I fired right up!

Does anyone know how or even should I add gear oil and if yes any special kind?

Also, any recommedation on 2 cycle oil?

Use outboard gear lube. BIA certified TCW oil.TCW3 rated oil is fine.
Drain gearcase by removing the gear housing cover.Fill by the hex head fill
screw hole at about 2 oclock on the cover.
