seapro 195 back rest

can anyone tell me how to remove the back rest on seapros 195 ? the middle is bowed out and i cant get the sides up. they appear to be screwed from the inside but there is really no access. thanks

All I can say is "good luck". On my 270 CC the mounting plate bolts are loose and on the port side the tackle box allows access to the nuts while on the starboard side there is no access at all. Well, let me take that back. We actually could access those nuts from the tackle box but the nuts were glassed-in when the livewell was added at the factory. So, short of cutting the livewell out there is no way to access the nuts and tighten them. I've just about decided to Marine-Tex the mounting plate on that side and hope for the best.
