I aquired a boat from my late grandfather and know nothing about it. I do know the boat is a 1965 seaswirl with a johnson seahorse 18 motor on it. mod#fd-17m and serial # 2354652 it only fires on one plug instead of both can anyone help me?? mr_scorpio_62@hotmail.com

Hi scorpio 62<br />Your motor is a 1963 model. Like Rex suggested pull the fly wheel and clean the points. Also check the mag. coils to see if they are split or cracked.
