Seahorse smoking after WOT

I've got a 15hp johnson 1980 seahorse that seems to smoke excessively after running at wot for any amount of time. It doesn't smoke much on startup or while trolling, however when cutting the throttle after running wide open for even a few minutes there seems to be a lot of smoke until the motor is killed and restarted. <br /><br />Just curious if this is something to be concerned about?

It's probably just steam. You'll get that when the water you're in is cold. When things warm up, it'll probably diminish quite a bit. But keep an eye on that pisser to make sure the pump is operating.

The pisser seemed to be working fine, water was about 49 degrees. I'll keep an eye on it over the next few weeks and see if it decreases as the water warms up.<br /><br />Thanks much for the quick reply.
