I was wondering how good these are. I may be getting one and I was wanting to see what everybody had to say about them. It's a 1992 model.

that is pretty old for a jet ski and it is the old design with the 580 engine good if it runs just as a toy mostly, not much to break , pumps deform from corrosion drive shaft seals go bad and sink the ski, two people on them tips them over easily. other than that be carefull of the oil pump failure.

Re: Seadoo Sp's

You better have it checked by some one who knows jet skis, have the compression checked and the pump checked, it isn't worth 800 even with a trailer, I purchased one for 300 with a trailer and it ran but the o rings were blown and all the heaqd bolts broke when I tried to rebuild the engine, it just was not worth the time to fix or the money so I took it apart and sold all the parts and trailer,, used the engine pan for a mount, welded some shocks and a big truck spring to the mount and made a toy out of it for my grandedaughter, she loves riding it in the back yard, that is all it was good for. you can find a 94 or newer one for 800 and it is a better hull design, but that is just my opinion, look for some old waverunner 3's with the 650 engine those were pretty indestructable, and they are a foot longer so they ride better. and there were a lot of pink ones just for girls lol.
