Of course good marketing can make anything look good.
Has anybody actually used one?

they have been around 30 -40 years, the navy seals used them. there use to be a show on TV, called Sea Hunt, they used them on it.

Thanks for the Sea Hunt link-I enjoyed that.

I'm not looking for a major dive propulsion vehicle-just something for the kids. I'm actually leaning toward this one: Sea-Doo Seascooter GTI It looks like it will fit the bill and the price looks good

Sea Doo Seascooter

Well I got a Sea Doo Seascooter for the kids and so far so good. Ended up getting the Seascooter GTI being in the middle of the pack pricewise. It operates as advertised and the battery lasts longer that I thought it would. It's a little bit of a pain changing out the battery but not to bad. The kids use it all the time and I even use it occasionally. Pretty cool toy.
