I was on a company lake day get together when the boss's business partner showed up with the boss's jet ski at the dock. He said that the gas gauge must be broken on the brand new ski, because he put over 50 gallons in it to help out and it was still reading low.
We all went down to take a look at this amazing bottomless tank the ski seemed to be sitting a little low in the water. Turns out he road it to the marina fueled it up in what we told him when he got back was the air intake and drove it back to the dock. Where we had to deal with it. The intake had lucky for him, become disconnected when he put the pump in it. He filled the hull up with 87 octane.
He RAN it all the way back to the dock AND IT DIDN'T BLOW UP ????
