Hi everyone, I don't frequent this forum a lot but remembered something that I would like to try and find the answer to. When my dad and I winterized our 95 Seadoo GTX, we followed all the directions. We got to the part where the 'ski is running with the hose hooked up, and you have to spray in carb. fogging stuff until the engine slowly dies out on its own. Well when we sprayed in stuff, it started smoking really bad (normal with fogging spray, right?) and instead of dying out, the 'ski actually revved up and started red lining. We then shut off the water and the jetski. I thought I read somewhere in the manual that is it revs up instead of down, possible engine damage can occur.....when we pull in out later this spring what can we expect? I blown engine, or a start? Is the engine ruined or does anything think it might be alright? Anything we should do to check the engine for damage BEFORE we start it? Thanks,
