take the pump off take the cone off hold your nose because the lube stinks bad, use the sea doo impeller tool and a 3/4 in socket with a breaker bar and unscrew it from the impeller shaft, replace the liner while you are in there, I use a big soldering gun to melt a small line through the liner and just before it cuts through stop and use a big screwdriver to pop the liner , get a white liner if you can and place a 2/4 over it to carefully tap it in place. I usually just clean up the leading edge of the impeller straighten out any dings and use the same one.
if you find water in the pump you need to replace all the berrings and seals that's another story
