Sea trialing soon...what's the Avg temp on a 318?

HI,<br />I will soon take a boat with twin FWC 318 inboards out for a sea trial.<br />I will run the boat at least an hour at high speed/ low speed/ idle/ etc..<br /><br />Question: What temp range is normal for them?<br /><br />Thanks in advance,<br />Lou

All depends on if they are fresh water cooled or raw water cooled. Fresh water cooled, I'd wouldn't want them over about 180. Raw water shouldn't be more than 160.

our freshwater twin 318's always ran 160 dead on
