Sea Sprite and Force

Theres a guy in my neighborhood who is selling his 1995 Sea Sprite, 17ft, with a 1995 90hp Force. The boat looks pretty clean and he's asking 4K. <br /><br />I know the older Force engines...1980's. <br /><br />Can anyone tell me anything about the Sea Sprite boats (reliability, durability, quality). Are the mid 90's Force engines Mercury related?

I believe the Mid 90 Force's are rebadged Mercs. Don't know much about the Sea Sprite boats.
