I have a 1993 Sea Ray/Sea Rayder with the 90 HP jet drive. it has function perfectly until resently when from 3/4 to full throttle it has the sympton like there are some weeds clogging the intake. The motor over revs and the the thrust deteriorates. I have made a thorough inspection of the intake and there is nothing present that would disrupt the flow. I have disassembled the pump drive to the wear ring. There is just a minimum amount of wear and the impeller is fine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am looking for suggestions on how to remedy this situation.
