Sea Ray 270 Sundancer

I have been Looking for a Used Sea Ray 270 Sundancer 1996 & 1997 . I have Looked at many sundancers and the two I am intrested in are, a 5.7 ( 454 ) FI Bravo 3 outdrive & a twin 4.3 v-6 Bravo 2 out drives. I need to know if anyone has had any PROBLEMS with these two Boats. Moter, outdrive,Electronics, Hull & so on. These Boats are going for around $50,000 and I want to make sure it will last me for the next 20 years or so. This will be my last MONEY PIT.

What engine did you mean, 5.7L or 454?<br />Chevy 350cid = 5.7L<br />Chevy 454cid = 7.5L<br /><br />Regards<br />Lou

I do not have one, but there have been a lot of problems reported with the bravo3 drives with corrosion issues. Check boatus bulletin board. This might steer you right into the duo drive, I guess...<br /><br />hans<br />got to keep the looneys on the grass!!
