Sea Ray 24 Sundeck

I am looking to buy a 24 Sundeck. Is there a specific engine/horsepower I should be looking for in this size boat? I definitely want enough power and an I/O with as little maintenance issues as possible. Anyone have suggestions?

There are several people that have or have had different engine and drive packages on the clubsearay.com forum that can help you a lot. Do not leave iboats cause there is a lot of knowledge here, I am a member of both forums, not sure which one I spend the most time one.
