I am looking to purchase 1995 Sea Ray 220 BR Signature Select boat.

I would like to know were can I find information about the freeboard of this boat, because I will use it on sea waters (calm, but could happen 4 ? 5 ft waves).

How is this boat on sea waters?

Thanks, Almeida

Re: Sea Ray 220 BR Select

I actually had the same boat. It was powered by a merc 5.7 liter EFI with a bravo I outdrive spinning stainless props. It was fast. I wish we still had this boat. It's a great entertaining, day boat. We moved up to a 30 Sundancer. Anyway, like all bowriders, waves bigger than 3-4 feet, the bow will act as a scoop. Pick your days when you go out, If you get caught and it begins to get choppy, put the bow cover on. I boat in Raritan Bay, NJ and along the NJ (Monmouth county) coast line. Get a good surveyor and best of luck.

Regards,:)
