Hi all,

I have just purchased my first boat 205 sport 2009 model and am looking for some advice on a few things:

Garmin GPS unit mounting location - I assume somewhere just above the 12v cigar socket on right-hand side of steering wheel is most suitable for mounting (garmin 276c) - appreciate advise on the best place.

Flag mounting location - any advise on the best place to mount a small flag?

Fuel guage not working - the fuel gauge is reading permanently full and does not move. Can anyone advise as to what the problem may be and how I can find the fuel sender unit.

Many thanks to all in advance on this great site!

Pegged full means the sensor wire is grounded. Fuel tank will be in the floor, usually right in front of the engine compartment. Either the panel covering the tank area will be removable, or you'll have an access hole to get to the sender - usually. Check the wiring from the gauge all the way to the sender - it could be grounded out at any place. Actually, first, remove the wire completely, and see if the gauge returns to empty. If it does not, then it's the gauge itself.

No idea on the others - some pictures would help.
