Sea Pro / Sea Boss Help!

My 2003 Sea Pro 180cc is now marketed as the Sea Boss 180. I have tried for awhile to find any source of an owner's manual for the boat. Did I choose the wrong manufacturer? I have called and e-mailed numerous dealers only to be told that there are no manuals available. Can it be that there's that much of a diff in models, that even a new manual will be of no value? Does anyone know if a dealer exists that may be more willing to help than those that I've already dealt with (I'm hesitant to list them by name - the management may not be aware of the uncooperative nature of their employees). Help!

Re: Sea Pro / Sea Boss Help!

Hello

Due to some changes to the materials used for the Sea Boss boats, I would not recommend the Sea Boss manual as a technical guide for your 180cc. I have read several forums discussing quality of materials, fittings etc, versus the original Sea-Pro version. Although the moulds for the hull are the same, not much else is.

I tried getting some info via the Sea Pro and Sea Boss websites, but without luck. We only have one dealer in the UK and they are only selling new Sea Pro boats, with no stock of parts of accessories for older boats.

Could I suggest you either ask another Sea-Pro owner to provide a photocopy of a manual at your cost, or to post individual requests as you require information? Although I'm new to this Forum, that's what I have done previously...Hope this helps
