Hello, purchased a '97 18cc and fuel guage was not working. Checked wiring and guage. Removed wires from sender, with wires open reads empty, wires connected together 0 ohms reads over full. I believe this is normal. Purchased a 240 ohm to 33 ohm sender and guage only drops to 1/2 instead of empty at 240 ohms. Does Sea Pro use a non industry standard sender?
Thanks, Dave

Re: Sea Pro Fuel Guage

I had to replace my 2001 fuel sender on a SVC2100 and it was made by Moeller.

Re: Sea Pro Fuel Guage

Hello

I have a 1999 Seapro 180cc.

I have just replaced my entire gauge kit with standard Honda gauges, but I had the sender type checked before replacement, as there were 2 options for low to high ohms, and high to low ohms.

I am sure I ordered the low to high ohms kit, Honda part number:
