Had same problem as most Sea Pro CC owners with anchor locker not accepting a large enough anchor to hold boat. I was given a #8 Danfort with boat and previous oner said it holds boat but to tall for anchor locker. My fix, I cut about 5" off bar where chain is attached and redrilled for chain. Also had to cut about 1/2" off one side of flute rod so it would sit flat in locker grove. Still holds boat fine and regained lost storage. Hope this helps.
